It was wonderful to follow how people become enthusiastic, how they worked for the goals they believed would be best for America. We Finnish people really envy the atmosphere. It was a new start. The speech of the new President, Senator Barack Obama, was something which can't be described. No accusation, no arrogance, no attacts. Only constructing, and promise for support for good people. The new President will give the total world a new chance for the change. And that we all really need. The power of spirit is the most important factor for the change. Tens of millions of American people have now that spirit. The new President gives us new trust that the big human right insults because of the II WW will be studied and solved. Our mission is the return of the Finnish Karelia and other ceded territories. Our European cooperation organization, The European Union of Exiled and Expelled People, EUEEP, works for the property questions. Also Senator Hillary Rodham-Clinton has in the Senate spoken of property issues in 2002 concerning Europe.
